For the math / a capella geeks out there: a song. I went… - Blather, Rinse, Repeat
- For the math / a capella geeks out there: a song.
- I went dancing last night - which is not noteworthy, really, and I'm actually particularly pleased that a night of swing, cha-cha, cowboy 10 step, and (sigh) the Electric Slide is unremarkable. When I was dancing with a woman there, she insisted that I had lost weight. I checked the scale this morning, and I'm pretty sure she's wrong. Still, that was nice of her.
- I saw "Dark Water". Jennifer Connelly is pretty to look at, but I'm weary of the "protagonist questions her own sanity" motif. Also odd was to walk out of a movie set entirely within a rainstorm into a sunny day in Seattle.
That song is great! I wish I had a better copy of it that was a little more clear and definitely louder. I know I missed some key words here and there that would have made it even funnier. =)
The lyrics are here
and a pretty good MP3 is here
. Related (not all math) stuff is here
I'm not entirely sure I get the "quotient" gag.
This moment of geekiness brought to you by my college pals who forward me geeky stuff, the letters e and i, and the numbers... um... e... and i, I guess.

I have a one-inch crack in my skull...
...from trying to understand those lyrics.
Had I majored in something a little more rational and scientific than poli-sci, I am sure that would be !-ing hysterical. ;]

I'm just sad they couldn't work in any "Abelian" puns.
