Pi Day - still two weeks to buy a compass
So, the fourteenth day of the third month seems like a good day to celebrate Pi. I encourage you to maybe eat pie on that day. Or, if not, something round. Or drink from a round glass. Or, wander around. I totally respect your right to observe it in your own way. Or not to observe it, even if that makes no sense at all to me.

However, I'm saddened, because I'm also working on my own personal zodiac calendar, inspired by International Talk Like a Pirate Day. Seems to me that the Pirate is an important archetype, but alongside other important figures like the Robot, Monkey, and Ninja. So, I divided the year up evenly and assigned each their own holiday, which put Sneak Like a Ninja Day on March 20th, which isn't even a week after Pi Day. Maybe people will be pied out and not be able to sneak appropriately, or they're practicing their wall-jumping in advance of the ninja day and they'll forget to eat pie.

Either way, I'm going to have to think harder.

LOL I suck at pirate-speak, but Sneak Like A Ninja day sounds right up my alley! ;)

Thanks for the giggle.

you make me laugh.

I think that you need to make a Dave iCal calendar and share it. I would totally subscribe to that. Go. Do it!!

When measured in radians, a circle equals 2Pi. So, logic says eat 2 pies to celebrate the day. Or at least try two pies. Wait. One circle(pie) = 2Pi. So divide by two... 1/2 circle = Pi. And pizza is a type of pie, so I will celebrate by half of a pizza.

No problem.
