Come on, Dave, that's not nearly as effective as freezing it in ice, now is it? ;)
Freezing it in ice is an interesting idea. Some benefits to that include easier removal from the mold and a classiness factor.
Some downsides might be less fun (Jello jiggles! Whee!) and more room for unpleasant melting incidents at room temperature. Also, a block of ice doesn't make for a good snack afterwards.
I'll think about these things for next time.

We totally should have installed an eccentric motor under the desk, and made the whole desk rumble.
Ah, well, nuts. One of my coworkers was going to embed a chess set in jello, but that worked out poorly. Looks like it's just the controller today.
