I've mentioned this Perplex City thing a few times before. Maybe you want a way to play the game without committing yourself to buying cards. I hear ya.

Here's one place to dip your toe in the puzzle water: http://www.perplexcity.com/promo/1/index.qbuild

But the reason I am blearily hammering at the keyboard at this hour is that there's a somewhat interesting (ok, interesting TO ME) challenge on one of the cards. You can read about it here, but the basic gist is that they have this picture of a guy (below), with some writing that translates (from Japanese?) as "Find Me". Apparantly, the challenge is to do a six-degrees-of-separation search over the Earth for this one guy.

So, I don't know, maybe you're bored at work, or maybe you know a lot of Japanese nationals living in Alsace. Check it out.

It says to paste this into my blog, so here it is:

Have you seen him?

Man, the CIA guys with the parallel-processing facial-recognition solutions get all the break.

"Hey, Bob, add this dude to the Suspected Terrorist queue."
