Now with 20% more gutty goodness.

Taken from Penny Arcade's E3 coverage:

With a pair of gel insoles lodged in my shoes, my feet feel like they're in two soft buckets of human viscera. It really is fantastic!

The writer of that image was referring to walking around the Electronic Entertainment Exposition (E3) this week.

For me, it's relevant because I've started my exercise routine again. I've been on the treadmill each morning this week. I've even paid a little attention to what I've been eating. This morning, the bathroom scale asked if I had got a haircut - something seemed different about me. So that's good.

A friend of mine turned me on to America on the Move, a free site that facilitates keeping track of exercise that you do on a daily basis. There's some encouragement and recipe tips, but the thing that does it for me is that you can monitor your friends' progress, and rag on them if they start slacking off.

Exercise is good if for no other reason than to give us an opportunity to harass our friends.
