The Damon Supremacy

Fun movie - good parts were included. Characters were continued from the first movie. Overall, a quite adequate sequel. Parts didn't measure up to the original, in my opinion. I liked the big car chase (through Prague, was it?) in the first movie better than the analogous one in this movie.

Still, it was an air conditioned dark room, and that's all I was going for. Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler, and Barney the Dinosaur could have filmed themselves eating sandwiches and I probably would have bought a ticket.

Oh, I am an idiot: in the trailer, there's a line "you're a hard person to find", which made sense to me after I had seen the first movie (which I had only seen AFTER the trailers for the second movie started running). I think I had forgotten that that scene actually came from the first movie, and I was expecting the scene to show up in the second movie. As a result, I didn't recognize one of the characters. This paragraph is deliberately obscure for those who... um... if you've seen the first movie, you probably know what I'm talking about. If you haven't seen the first movie, and like action-packed thrillers, rent the first one and go see the second one in the theatre. It's warm outside and the theatre is cool and dark.

Bottom Line: Four Stars out of Five.
