Initiative 83, which was Seattle's third chance to revisit the question "Monorail: fancy science fiction mass transit in the sky, or frivolous theme park attraction" passed, meaning another several years of local radio programs playing The Monorail Song from The Simpsons.

Probably a couple more initiatives, too.

Secondly, in a closely watched battle, the Yarrow Point library will not be joining the King County Library system.

Yesterday, I was toying with starting my own political party. I'm currently thinking of starting "The Ninja Party". Ninjas are cool, right? Let me know if you and a couple hundred thousand of your friends are in, we can make this happen.

I know that you might be wanting to describe the sad expression on the democratic candidate, but "Long-faced Senator Kerry" seems like an unfortunate phrasing.

I expect that some of you already may know this, but I'm a little bit of a geek.


I mention this to tell you I just blew a bunch of cash on a 64bit liquid cooled dual processor monster.

All this, and it's only got one mouse button. Crazy. I'm sure I'll figure out some way to survive. Fairly sure, anyway. Let's put it this way. If you don't hear from me in a couple weeks, come to the house. Bring a crowbar. Remove me from this machine and reintroduce me to the light of day.
