(no subject)

Good Christmas was had. Perhaps I'll post more details, perhaps I won't.

I got some good stuff (including the immersion blender and mandoline that I asked for - now I need to figure out what I wanted to make with these appliances).

And, of course, there was some stuff on my wish list that didn't get picked up. So, the first thing this morning, I went to Amazon and ThinkGeek to remedy the situation. I purchased several DVDs from Amazon without really thinking about it. The more I think about it now, the more curious I find this, because I don't tend to watch DVDs. Just having them, though, is like a security blanket.

But more puzzling to me is ThinkGeek. Check out this page. Perhaps it'll be different when you go there, but when I look in the upper right hand corner, I see the following:

 Availability: In Stock

This product is not available for purchase at this time.

Which means what? They have it, but they won't sell it to me? Should I say Please? With sprinkles on top?

In any case, Peace on Earth, Goodwill to Man. May your holidays be joyous and bright.
