treasure

travelling rhymes

To market, to market, to buy a fat pig,
Home again, home again, jiggety jig.
To market, to market, to buy a fat hog,
Home again, home again, jiggety jog.

No, I didn't buy any pork recently. But I am home again, and "jiggedy jog" jumped to mind. As did "jiggedy jig". And I had forgotten the rest of the rhyme, so I was distressed - jig? jog?

I'm pleased to find that both are correct.

Speaking of "jog" - I've once again found my treadmill. Once again attempting to apply downward pressure on that number on the bathroom scale - as opposed to merely wishing it down, which hasn't worked very well. I'm contemplating setting up a web app that will track my progress and make automatic posts. Or maybe an RSS feed, so that friends that are interested in tracking such progress can hold me accountable.

Then again, there may well already be something out there that people are already using and love. Anybody?
