I was reading about Nintendo's store, and stumbled across the phrase "the store has been designed to create an interactive experience for all visitors".

Uhhh, let's step back. Seems like every store I can think of is an interactive experience. One of the widely-accepted reasons that eCommerce is so attractive is that people like the option of interacting with their computer instead of flesh-and-blood Gap employees.

A while back, I essentially "subscribed" to a game company's product line. When they come out with a new game, I get a copy. I'll grant that that's not a store, per se, but it's just about as non-interactive a sales experience as I can imagine.

(Perhaps I should un-rile myself about "interactive". Later on in the hype, they use the word "edgy", appearantly without irony.)
