Dear spammers,
I am writing in reference to a recent piece of unwanted email I received. I expect that most of the time you forge the headers of your email to be from other addresses on your email list, which circumvents the old anti-spam technique of verifying the address as a first pass of detecting spam.
The email in question, however, was ostensibly from a "cdc.gov" email address with promises of pornographic imagery.
I assure you that I do not now, nor will I in the foreseeable future, wish to look at Center for Disease Control porn.
Thank you for your unflagging work.
-Dave
