Treadmill Theater: Trudging Through the Classics #6 - Birth of a Nation (parts 2, 3a) [cheat]

I'm not on the treadmill as I'm watching this, as I actually got out and walked along a nearby trail instead of doing my daily hour or so on the contraption. Or the "Tread Pirate Roberts", for those that require names for devices.

2 1/2 hours in, half an hour to go.

I'm finding it all too easy to get distracted from the movie - the hazard of a silent, I guess.

Lilian Gish is reminding me a lot of Glenne Headly.

If one wants to read or listen to a performance of "Our American Cousin", the Internet provides.

In addition to the strange selection of movies here, my attention is drawn to the clut classics title - some 8-bit graphics code talks about a "Color Look Up Table", presumably because "CLUT" is easier to spell than "palette".


I was disturbed by the resemblance the last 10 minutes or so of Birth of a Nation had to Night of the Living Dead.

Erm, spoiler alert, I guess.
