So, I've been listening to Freezepop's cover of the "Jem! and the Holograms" theme song.

I've gone to the various lyrics databases on the net.

I get that the rival band is "The Misfits" (not the Misfits of Science, that's a mid 80s Courteney Cox vehicle).

My question is whether their songs are bitter (to rhyme with "get her") or better (also to rhyme with "get her").

The Freezepop cover and the lyrics databases seem to be in consensus about the Misfits' songs being better, but I could hear it both ways when listening to the theme on YouTube.
