And then we had a storm last night. I was just talking to some friends last weekend about The Black Company novels by Glen Cook, and how one of my favorite moments in the series involves a fork in the storyline. One book takes some of the protagonists one direction, the next book takes some other people a different way, and about halfway through the second book, one of the characters looks at the horizon at an impressive storm going on over yonder, and the readers know that it's the actions of the first group, and not some mere occluded front.
I mention that because the storm last night was like that - lots of lightning on the horizon, nothing near me. One of my coworkers took some pictures of it. Click on that link soon; I suspect he'll remove the pictures before long.
I'll bet the storm was just Microsoft summoning the Master of Darkness again.
