I really like the amnesiac assassin character, both in this movie and in Bourne Identity. I imagine in Bourne Supremacy, we won't be seeing Jason Bourne losing his memory and once again discovering his identity.
But that's a tangent. I just watched TLKG again - caught it on cable, and was reminded how much I liked it. Granted, it's a little bit weird to listen to them refer to the 1993 World Trade Center bombings.
Probably my favorite Geena Davis moment was (and this was before I tuned in tonight, so I'm going on old memories) when her character's cutting tomatoes with a knife and shows some UNUSUAL skill with it. "Chefs do that, right?"
But my favorite Samuel L. Jackson bit was right at the end, as they're on the bridge, and the kid says "don't hit the cars". SLJ takes a moment to sneer at the kid.
Oh, sorry. Spoilers above.
Also: saw Spider-Man 2 today. OK film. Good mix of character development and silly (i.e. comic book) action. Shameless establishment of the Spider-Man 3 conflict. I'll see that, too. If nothing else, these movies give Bruce Campbell a day of work once every two years.
