Remember "The Transformers"? Transparent attempt on the part of Tanaka/Hasbro to sell toys? They've come out with different variations of the show since the time when we were kids. Turns out they're all pretty poor.
Nevertheless, I'm listening to the movie soundtrack.
Could be worse, could be "Challenge of the Superfriends".
Speaking of transparent marketing on the part of Hasbro - one of the trailers at the movie theatre this weekend was for a Candyland movie (series?). Including Aunt Nutty and a handful of other obviously named heroes - fighting against (who else?) evil Lord Licorice. History is told by those who hate licorice, I guess.
Oh, and the movie I was seeing was "Finding Neverland". Thumbs up. A rare instant favorite.
